Special days are the most effective periods for brands to keep their video communication active. It is very important for most brands to evaluate these days and produce special content for their target audiences and to be published in every social media channel they are in. It allows brands to be visible in the sector and to be remembered by the customer. Special day contents, which allow the target audience to feel valued, also strengthen the bonds between the brand and the customer in a positive way. Especially in this period when video content is frequently consumed and most preferred by the target audience, preparing short video content allows increasing brand awareness. As Volans Video Agency, we have made our micro-video content, which reflects our animation world, ready to be shared by associating it with a meaningful day like 21 December. After our "Winter Solstice-Longest Night" content that we published as a story on our Instagram account, we created an expectation in the target audience by periodically sharing short stories containing the date "December 21" from our animation showreel. Considering the active hours of our users on our Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, we shared our video at different times. We directed the target audience to our YouTube page on our video sharing by adding the phrase "Don't think, how does the night end, how does time pass?" to the text of our video's share. Thanks to this post, which we associated with Winter Solstice, we added value to both the day and our content.
